PROJECT AIMS AND DESCRIPTION
The Project aims at developing educational material and CLIL modules in English about the European 20-20-20 Climate Energy Package.
Each school involved in the project should work on a specific subject among the following:
1) how to increase the renewable energy resources of 20% by 2020;
2) how to reduce energy consumption of 20% thanks to efficiency improvement and energy savings;
3) how to move from an economic development model based on consumerism to a sustainable economic development model (reduce, reuse, recycle).
Students are invited to share their views on the actual Economic and Climate Crisis and to find responses to them. They are also invited to produce educational materials (presentations, videos, etc...) showing their proposals. Teachers will guide students in the process and will collect all the educational materials produced by them to form a CLIL course about the European 20-20-20 strategy.
During the visits to the partner schools the CLIL modules developed in collaboration are proposed to the mixed classes, so as to create a real CLIL environment with groups of students coming from different countries who should necessary communicate in a common language (English) different from their mother tongue.
